The Problem

Users of streaming services often experience decision paralysis, especially when selecting content with other people. There is a need to enhance the way individuals and groups discover and choose movies and shows.


Streamlist would transform the movie discovery process through a gamified experience. By incorporating user feedback and prioritizing features for social sharing and ratings, the app simplifies the task of finding and curating movies while fostering a sense of community among users. This design not only streamlines decision-making but makes it enjoyable.

Through one-on-one interviews and surveys, insights were gathered on how users discover and choose movies to watch. The research aimed to understand the decision-making process, pain points with existing platforms, and features that could make finding content more intuitive and enjoyable.
